Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Valid state nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, BLS, NRP, FHM, NCC EFM accepted in lieu of AWHONN Must-Have: Experience in labor and delivery, including high-risk pregnancies and fetal heart monitoring. Ability to assist with vaginal deliveries and circulate for C-sections. Experience with postpartum couplet care is a bonus. Description: The role involves working in a labor and delivery unit with a focus on both antepartum and intrapartum care. There are four antepartum rooms, nine labor and high-risk rooms, and three triage rooms. Floating to postpartum may be required if needed. Fetal heart monitoring and high-risk pregnancy monitoring are essential components of the role. C-sections and vaginal deliveries will be part of the responsibilities. Pre-employment screening requires two references covering one year of work within the last three years. Candidates must have experience as a travel nurse and the ability to float between units within the facility. All nurses will be expected to commit to working three out of five holidays each year.
