About the Job Diesel Service Technician Up to $35/HR + Monthly Bonuses | Monday-Friday Are you an experienced Heavy-Duty Diesel Technician looking for a shop where your skills are valued, your schedule is consistent, and there is room to grow? FleetPride is hiring a Diesel Technician II in Stevens Point, WI This is our advanced-level technician role for someone who can confidently diagnose and repair a wide variety of heavy-duty trucks and trailers - from routine PMs to complex engine, electrical, drivetrain, and aftertreatment repairs. - Preventive maintenance & DOT inspections.
- Air brake systems.
- Electrical diagnostics & schematics.
- Starting & charging systems.
- Wheel ends, steering & suspension.
- Cooling systems.
- A/C diagnostics & repairs.
- Drivetrain components.
- Transmissions & clutches.
- Differentials.
- Aftertreatment systems.
- Upper & lower engine repairs.
- Diagnostic troubleshooting.
- And everything in between!
- 3+ years of heavy-duty truck/trailer repair experience preferred.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Willingness to coach and assist other technicians.
- Strong communication skills with managers, service writers, customers, and teammates.
- Own tools and toolbox.
- Valid driver's license.
- CDL is a plus, but not required.
- Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
