Your Role in the Team

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a range of ultrasound examinations including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety, clearly explaining procedures with empathy and professionalism
• Collaborate diligently with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure the delivery of high-quality diagnostic images
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment, promptly addressing any malfunctions
• Record procedures accurately and manage patient documentation within the electronic medical record system
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in ultrasound imaging techniques and standards

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or a comparable body
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is a plus
