Position Overview

Responsibilities Include

• Performing a comprehensive range of ultrasound examinations such as abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Providing reassurance and clarity to patients throughout the examination process to ensure comfort and safety
• Collaborating closely with radiologists and physicians to ensure the delivery of high-quality diagnostic images
• Maintaining and operating imaging equipment effectively, reporting any malfunctions promptly
• Documenting procedures efficiently and accurately maintaining patient records through our electronic medical records system
• Remaining updated on the latest advancements in ultrasound techniques and best practices

Educational Qualifications

• An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Necessary Certifications

• Active certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred

• Proficient understanding of sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
