Part Time WyldLife Team Leader – Madison County Madison County Young Life is seeking a relational, organized, and mission-minded individual to join the team as a Part Time WyldLife Team Leader. Job Summary Part‑time role, about 10 hours per week. Lead a WyldLife program (Cazenovia or develop a new ministry in the Morrisville‑Eaton or Canastota communities). Participate in a three‑year cohort with regular Zoom calls with national staff. Recruit, train, and support volunteer leaders; build relationships with students, parents, and community. Coordinate and execute a regular schedule of club, campaigner, camp, and contact work with students. Raise personal financial support to supplement the area budget. Manage finances, maintain accurate records of kids, leaders, and donors, and communicate ministry updates to donors. Model spiritual development, lead teams in contact work, and maintain clear, professional communication. Responsibilities Lead and facilitate spiritual development—following Jesus—through prayer, fellowship, and community involvement. Develop a yearly personal growth plan and lead teams in spiritual development. Equip leaders: recruit, train, and invest in volunteers; conduct team building and training; supervise and cast vision. Fundraise: raise financial support, manage donor care, and assist with camp fundraisers. Direct ministry: engage in contact work, lead clubs and campaigner ministries, and oversee summer school/camp assignments. Ministry support: handle accounting, administrative tasks, data management, communications, and strategic planning. Maintain confidentiality and uphold Young Life policies and professional conduct. Qualifications College degree preferred. Proven relational skills with children and adults. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Experience in volunteer leadership or youth ministry is advantageous. Training Mission‑wide training is not required. Training events such as New Staff Training, Winter Training, Focus Conferences, and Young Life University are available upon request with approval from the regional director.
