Lab Senior Specimen Accessioner
Labcorp
Labcorp seeks a Specimen Processor to prepare laboratory specimens for testing and analysis in a high-throughput diagnostic environment. Responsibilities include specimen handling, labeling, routing, data entry, and shipping in a Monday-Friday evening shift role located in Greenville, North Carolina.
Responsibilities
- Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing
- Unpack, route, and label specimens with accuracy
- Pack and ship specimens to appropriate testing facilities
- Enter patient information and specimen data accurately and timely
- Resolve and document problem specimens according to protocols
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Comfortable handling biological specimens safely
- Accurate specimen identification and labeling ability
- Strong data entry and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly
- Pass standardized colorblindness test
- Preferred: 1+ year lab, accessioning, or warehouse experience
