Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med/Surg Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS, NIH Must-Have: BLS NIH Description: BACKFILL - CONTRACT - RN - MS - 4W NEURO - 13 WEEKS - 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM. No call required. Candidates must possess skills in Med-Surg assessment, pharmacology assessment, and Med-Surg skills. This unit has a total of 40 beds. Staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 8 RNs, and 4 PCTs during the day shift. Night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 7 RNs, and 4 PCTs. Patient ratios on day shift are 5-6:1, and night shift is 6:1. The type of equipment used includes EMR Meditech. Permanent positions may be available on the unit. Best personality fit is a positive team player. The dress code requires navy blue scrubs. The unit has a great team culture and a strong sense of collaboration. Additional considerations for candidates include the latest equipment and technology as well as tenure and experience of the staff.
