Anesthesiologist Opportunity

Excellent opportunity for an anesthesiologist to join our group practice in Wilmington, NC, serving a 678-bed tertiary care center. Our practice is based out of the New Hanover Regional Medical Center, a 678-bed level II trauma center, which serves as a tertiary care center for seven counties in southeastern coastal North Carolina. We also provide anesthesia services to multiple other locations across the Cape Fear region, including Caper Fear (Orthopedic) Hospital, Pender Memorial Hospital, Dosher Hospital (Southport), Atlantic Surgi Center, as well as various office-based settings.

• Salary: $605K call taking

• Heart and Vascular, Pediatrics, Neurosurgery, Endos, Orthopedics and OB/GYN

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership

Requirements

• M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine
• Fellowship Trained in Pediatric Anesthesiology
• Completion of approved residency in anesthesia
• Currently licensed as a physician
