This position will be primarily remote, allowing for flexibility in work hours while maintaining a strong focus on patient care. However, our outpatient office in Yonkers, New York, is equipped with modern facilities for in-person consultations as required. Key Responsibilities\n

As an LMFT, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individual, couple, and family therapy sessions, both virtually and in-person when necessary.
\n
• Specializing in areas such as alcohol and substance abuse, grief and loss, family conflicts, blended family issues, and adjustment to life changes such as separation or divorce.
\n
• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic methods tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.
\n
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of all sessions and treatment plans in compliance with organizational policies and state regulations.
\n
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to create holistic treatment plans that incorporate both mental and physical health strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

At Embrace Life Mental Healthcare, you will engage with a diverse client population, including adults, children, and adolescents. You will work to support families facing various challenges, including but not limited to marital discord, psychological distress, adjustment issues, and more. Your expertise will significantly contribute to the mental health outcomes for clients struggling with complex family dynamics and individual issues.

Qualifications\n

• Must hold a valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
\n
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required.
\n
• Demonstrated understanding of therapeutic techniques and theories applicable to family dynamics and individual mental health.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working in an outpatient setting is highly desirable.
\n
• Strong background in working with a range of issues including trauma, relationship conflicts, and life transitions.

• Proficiency in telemedicine platforms and electronic health record systems.
\n
• Flexible availability to accommodate the needs of clients, ideally 30 hours per week or more.

Compensation and Benefits\n
