Body Shop Technician

Position Overview Body Shop Technician responsible for repairing vehicle bodies and damaged parts in accordance with manufacturer standards and company specifications. Valid Driver’s License required. Competitive wages, paid time off & holidays, full health benefits, and a 401k match are offered. Salary range: $50,000 - $150,000 (depending on experience). Duties & Responsibilities Repairs vehicles per estimate and according to manufacturer standards. Checks parts against estimate and ensures proper parts are ordered and received. Prepares vehicles for body repair work. Notifies management of any additional repairs needed. Notifies management of any difficulties or problems that may prevent a quality job from being performed or cause a change in the promised time. Maintains tools and equipment in proper state of repair. Maintains and wears all required safety and health personal protective equipment, including respirator, as recommended by the equipment manufacturer. Complies with all laws and regulations pertaining to paint, thinners, and other hazardous materials. Reports deviations to management. Cooperates and assists other employees in repair and prep of vehicles. Understands, keeps abreast of, and complies with federal, state, and local regulations that affect body shop operations, such as hazardous waste disposal and OSHA Right-to-Know. Operates all tools and equipment safely. Other duties as assigned. Activity and Knowledge Requirements High degree of product and technical knowledge. Qualifications Must be a team player with a strong sense of commitment to the customer. Must be self‑motivated and have strong verbal and written communication skills. Must conduct oneself in a professional manner. Must be able to successfully pass a background check and a pre‑hire drug and alcohol test. Other Requirements Valid Driver’s License required. Must satisfy background check and pre‑hire drug and alcohol test.
