Compensation ranges from $37,440 to $62,400 per year, based on experience and availability. Job Specifics Diagnose mechanical issues in small engine-powered equipment (e.g., lawnmowers, chainsaws, snow blowers). Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, air filter replacements, spark plug inspections, and carburettor cleanings. Repair or replace faulty components such as belts, spark plugs, and fuel systems. Provide customers with clear explanations of necessary repairs and maintenance recommendations. Document service work performed and ensure accurate records are kept for each job. Ensure all equipment meets manufacturer specifications and operates at optimal performance. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Stay current with new small engine technologies and repair methods. Qualifications and Experience Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Basic knowledge of small engine mechanics. 1+ years of experience working with small engines.
