This role is responsible for leading and coaching a regional sales team, setting sales targets, and developing strategies to grow customer acquisition and retention in the assigned territory. Day-to-day activities include overseeing door-to-door and local market outreach, monitoring performance metrics, conducting field visits with team members, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The Regional Sales Manager will collaborate closely with marketing and operations to align regional initiatives with company objectives, optimize sales processes, and enhance customer experience. This role also involves hiring, training, and mentoring sales staff and representing Mpower Energy at local events and community engagements. Qualifications Sales leadership and management skills, including experience supervising sales teams, setting goals, and driving performance in a regional or territory-based environment. Business development and customer acquisition experience, preferably in energy, utilities, or related service industries. Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse communities and build long-term customer relationships. Data-driven mindset with the ability to use CRM tools, sales reports, and analytics to track performance and inform strategy. Experience with field sales or door-to-door sales operations, including coaching representatives and conducting on-site visits. Ability to work on-site in Chicago, IL, and travel within the region as needed. Proven ability to recruit, train, and develop high-performing sales teams in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Knowledge of renewable energy markets or a strong interest in sustainability and community outreach is highly beneficial.
