About the Role:  

Join Performance Label International Inc as a Rewinder/Quality Control Assistant and be a vital part of our dynamic team in San Diego, CA! This role offers an exciting opportunity to ensure top-quality products while working in a fast-paced, innovative environment. Entry and Intermediate positions available, will train.

Responsibilities:  

• Operate rewinding machines to prepare printed materials for shipping.
• Conduct quality control inspections to ensure adherence to specifications.
• Maintain accurate records of production and quality metrics.
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure smooth operation.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and best practices in the workplace.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the production process.

Requirements:

 

• Previous experience in printing or manufacturing environments is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Committed to professional development.
• Basic mechanical skills for machine operation and maintenance.
• Good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
• Familiarity with safety protocols in a manufacturing setting.
• Frequent standing, walking and the ability to regularly lift or move up to 50 lbs.
• Basic math skills, ability to read a ruler and use calculator.
• Proper attendance.
• Specific vision requirements are close vision, distant vision, color vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus.
• Able to pass a background and drug screen (Per California Law)
