Staff Accountant Location: Spring Lake, MI Compensation: $70,000-$80,000 + Bonus Industry: Manufacturing About the Staff Accountant Opportunity Our client is a well-established manufacturing company. They are seeking a hands-on Staff Accountant to join their team and play a key role in the day-to-day accounting operations of the business. Staff Accountant Position Summary The Staff Accountant will support a broad range of accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, month-end close, reporting, and general accounting activities. This role is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is comfortable wearing multiple hats. Staff Accountant Responsibilities * Process accounts payable, including entering invoices and matching purchase orders * Manage accounts receivable activities, payment applications, and collections * Process weekly payroll through ADP for approximately 150 employees * Assist with month-end close activities and financial reporting * Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations * Maintain vendor records and process new vendor set-ups * Generate routine accounting and operational reports * Prepare and issue manual check payments as needed * Support administrative and accounting projects across the organization * Work closely with leadership to ensure accurate and timely financial information is maintained Staff Accountant Qualifications * 3+ years of accounting experience * Strong Accounts Payable experience required * Experience with Accounts Receivable, payroll, and month-end close * Proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Office applications * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered * Strong organizational and time-management skills * Positive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to assist wherever needed #LI-MS4 #ZRCFS #INJUN2026 Staff Accountant Staff Accoutant
