Do you want to be a part of it?Who Will Love This JobA strong people leader, you enjoy developing others, setting clear expectations, and creating a culture of accountability, safety, service, and teamwork.A proactive problem solver, you can evaluate technical problems, determine appropriate solutions, and make sound operational decisions.A skilled organizer, you can manage multiple facilities, competing priorities, emergency situations, and long-term maintenance needs.A responsible steward, you understand the importance of managing budgets, assets, vendors, and organizational resources wisely and cost-effectively.A committed Christian, you lead with integrity, humility, and a servant-oriented approach that reflects Christ in the way you manage people and resources.Your Top ResponsibilitiesLead, supervise, and develop the facilities maintenance team, providing clear priorities, performance expectations, coaching, and accountability.Direct the organization-wide facilities maintenance program across multiple locations, prioritizing preventive and predictive maintenance, work requests, repairs, and emergency response.Monitor the condition and operation of buildings, grounds, vehicles, equipment, and mechanical systems to identify risks, prevent disruptions, and prioritize maintenance needs.Establish and maintain effective work order, maintenance history, asset tracking, and inventory systems.Plan and oversee facility improvement, repair, renovation, and capital projects, coordinating schedules, resources, and organizational priorities.Select, coordinate, and manage vendors and contractors, monitoring work for quality, timeliness, cost, and compliance with expectations.Ensure facilities, equipment, vehicles, and maintenance activities comply with applicable regulatory requirements, safety standards, and organizational policies.Manage facilities-related expenditures, maintenance costs, capital assets, and replacement and improvement recommendations in support of approved budgets and responsible stewardship.Partner with Center Directors and department leaders to assess facility needs, communicate priorities, and coordinate maintenance activities with program operations.Lead the facilities team with Christ-centered character, demonstrating servant leadership, integrity, humility, and respect.What You Should HaveMinimum five years of progressive experience in facilities, building operations, maintenance, construction, or a related field.Minimum three years of experience supervising or leading maintenance, facilities, construction, or skilled-trades personnel.Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience considered.Experience managing multiple facilities, maintenance programs, budgets, vendors, and capital projects preferred.Strong knowledge of facility operations, building systems, preventive maintenance, equipment, grounds, and vehicle maintenance.Strong leadership, project management, financial management, problem-solving, and vendor/contractor management skills.Valid driver's license with the ability to become and remain an approved PRM driver required.This is a safety-sensitive position and requires compliance with PRM's drug-free workplace policy.Ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings, weekends, holidays, or after-hours emergency response as operational needs require.A genuine commitment to following Jesus Christ and carrying the Christian mission of Phoenix Rescue Mission into the stewardship and leadership of its facilities and resources.What We OfferLife-giving work that transforms the cities we serveCaring and supportive environmentGenerous health, dental, and vision benefits401(k) match programRobust paid time off program12 paid holidays annually
