Prime Electric is a growing, family-owned electrical contractor serving residential and commercial customers throughout the Treasure Coast and Palm Beaches. We are seeking an experienced Lead Electrical Technician who can independently manage projects, lead apprentices and helpers, troubleshoot electrical systems, and represent our company professionally in the field.

Responsibilities

Perform residential and light commercial electrical installations, repairs, and service work
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently
Lead and mentor apprentices and helpers on job sites
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings
Install panels, breakers, lighting, generators, EV chargers, service upgrades, and other electrical systems
Ensure all work meets NEC requirements and local code regulations
Communicate professionally with customers and office staff
Maintain accurate job documentation and material lists
Operate company vehicles and maintain a clean, organized work area

Qualifications

Minimum 4 years of electrical field experience
Strong knowledge of residential and commercial electrical systems
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Experience leading crews and managing projects preferred
Valid Florida driver's license
Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills
Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various weather conditions
