In this role, you’ll help maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for our guests, associates, and hotel property while providing exceptional service. What You’ll Do Monitor hotel activity and help deter theft, vandalism, and other security concerns. Conduct regular interior and exterior patrols of the hotel and property. Monitor video surveillance and identify unusual or suspicious activity. Respond appropriately to emergencies and security incidents. Maintain accurate and detailed security, incident, and investigation records. Support hotel management with security, loss prevention, key control, fire safety, and workplace safety procedures. Conduct investigations related to incidents involving theft, loss, damage, accidents, or other concerns. Work closely with hotel leadership and department heads to promote a safe, secure, and positive environment. Assist with emergency procedures and ensure security and safety equipment is properly maintained and utilized. Follow established procedures for cash handling, key control, chemical safety, employee safety, and other areas of loss prevention. Provide professional and courteous service to guests and associates at all times. What We’re Looking For Previous security experience in a hotel, hospitality, or similar environment preferred. Current security officer registration/license as required by local regulations. Strong observation, surveillance, critical-thinking, and problem‑solving skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds. Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal. Knowledge of applicable security, public safety, and emergency procedures. First Aid/BLS and self‑defense training preferred. Professional, calm, and confident approach when handling challenging situations. Ability to work independently while also being an effective TEAM member. Reliable and comfortable working overnight shifts.
