Travel Registered Nurse - Hospice

In this dynamic role, you’ll provide direct care to patients and support to families, while also serving as a floating clinician—temporarily assigned to different hospice branches based on census needs or staffing gaps. These locations include Dickson, Selmer, Clarksville, Columbia, Dyersburg, Jackson, Lawrenceburg, Memphis and Paris. \n \nSome overnight travel will be required. Fleet vehicle or mileage reimbursement, travel expense reimbursement, comprehensive benefit package and competitive salary provided. \n \nAs a Hospice RN – Regional Support, You Will:\n\n • Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care for hospice patients\n • Manage and implement individualized plans of care\n • Support and lead interdisciplinary team members (LPNs, CNAs, HHAs, etc.)\n • Assess and address patients’ physical, emotional, spiritual, and environmental needs\n • Accurately document all care provided and ensure compliance with hospice protocols\n • Educate families and caregivers on care instructions, medications, and safety\n • Participate in the on-call rotation and provide after-hours care as needed\n • Collaborate with physicians, referral sources, and the care team\n • Assist with referrals, regulatory documentation, and payer compliance\n • Travel to various Gentiva hospice locations as assigned to fill urgent needs\n \n \nSchedule & Travel:\n \nThis role typically follows a Monday–Friday schedule, with occasional on-call responsibilities. Travel is required and may include:\n\n Option 1: Overnight travel required to cities within a 100-mile radius.\n Option 2: Frequent overnight travel to multiple states is required.\n Option 3: Regional travel with overnight stays based on assignment needs.\n\nA company fleet car is provided for eligible employees.
