As an Armed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and respond to security-related concerns. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeWed03:00 PM - 11:00 PMThur03:00 PM - 11:00 PMFri11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSat11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSun11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of manufacturing areas, office spaces, parking areas, entry points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, vendors, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures. Document patrols, incidents, observations, and unusual conditions accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts. Minimum Requirements: Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience. Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
