This is not an ordinary convenience store position. Our Food Service Specialists are responsible for keeping our food and beverage areas fresh, clean, stocked, organized, and ready for customers throughout the day.

What You’ll Do

Customers have many choices when it comes to food, beverages, and quick-service dining. One of the ways we stand out is by providing friendly service, quality products, and a clean, inviting food service experience.

As a Food Service Specialist, you will:

• Greet customers and provide fast, friendly, and professional service.

• Engage customers in the food service area and help create a welcoming experience.

• Encourage customers to try our food and beverage products.

• Learn our food offerings so you can answer questions and make recommendations.

• Prepare, stock, rotate, and maintain food products according to company standards.

• Keep coffee, fountain beverage, bakery, hot food, and other food service areas well stocked.

• Monitor product freshness, quality, and availability throughout your shift.

• Maintain clean, organized, and inviting food preparation and service areas.

• Follow food safety, sanitation, temperature-control, and handling procedures.

• Check expiration dates and properly rotate products.

• Restock supplies, cups, lids, condiments, utensils, and other food service items.

• Assist with cleaning equipment, counters, floors, workstations, and customer-facing areas.

• Respond quickly to customer needs and changing business volume.

• Work with other team members to complete daily food service and store priorities.

• Communicate product shortages, equipment concerns, and other issues to management.

• Follow all safety and security procedures.

Minimum Education Required

High School Diploma

Minimum Experience Required

Great If You Have:

• Previous food service, restaurant, convenience store, or retail experience.

• Customer service experience.

• Experience preparing or serving food.

• Knowledge of basic food safety practices.

• A high school diploma or equivalent.

• Interest in developing additional skills and advancing into greater responsibility.
