Entry-Level Electrical Engineer

Electrical EngineerThe Electrical Engineer supports the reliability, maintenance, and improvement of electrical power and control systems at RoyOMartin's Chopin manufacturing facility. This entry-level role works alongside experienced engineering, maintenance, and operations professionals to develop hands-on technical expertise in industrial electrical systems, controls, automation, and project execution. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Assist with analyzing and troubleshooting electrical power and control systemsSupport the design, coordination, installation, and commissioning of electrical projectsSupport Allen-Bradley PLCs, variable frequency drives (VFDs), servo systems, HMIs, and industrial networksAssist with maintaining Rockwell AOP, EDS, and firmware filesMaintain electrical drawings, documentation, and RoyOMartin specificationsWork with the electrical department to develop and maintain preventive maintenance programs for electrical equipmentAssist with electrical project schedules, budgets, and capital project activitiesSupport plant arc flash studies, electrical safety documentation, and NFPA 70E complianceAssist with short circuit studies and protective device coordinationSupport process instrumentation, including pressure, temperature, and flow measurement systemsWork with vendors and technical resources to learn and evaluate new technologiesProvide technical support to plant electricians and operations personnel as knowledge and experience developJob ExperienceBachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related discipline preferredRecent graduates and early-career candidates are encouraged to applyFoundational knowledge of AC and DC power and control circuitsFoundational knowledge of three-phase electrical systems, motor controls, PLCs, and industrial automationExposure to Allen-Bradley PLCs, VFDs, servo systems, or HMI programming preferredFamiliarity with AutoCAD and electrical drawings preferredFamiliarity with NFPA 70E and electrical safety principles preferredExposure to process instrumentation, including pressure, temperature, and flow measurement, is a plusProficiency in Microsoft Office productsManufacturing or industrial experience through employment, internships, co-ops, or coursework is a plus but not requiredBehavioral SkillsUpholds RoyOMartin's values of Respect, Integrity, Commitment, Honesty, Excellence, and StewardshipProactive and positive approach to safetyDemonstrates initiative and a strong willingness to learnStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsThoroughness and attention to detailEffective communication and teamwork skillsAbility to prioritize responsibilities and respond to changing operational needsCreates and maintains positive working relationshipsProfessional, dependable, and receptive to coaching and feedbackCommitment to continuous learning and technical growthBenefitsHealthcare - Legacy Health & Wellness and Legacy PharmacyWellness ProgramFlexible Spending AccountAdditional InsurancePaid Time OffRetirementChaplaincy ServicesEducationAbout RoyOMartinAt RoyOMartin, people are our number-one asset.
