Role Description The Experienced Family Law Paralegal will support a solo attorney in all stages of family law matters in a full-time, on-site position located in Anniston, Alabama. This role is best suited for a steady, organized professional who is comfortable managing a consistent workflow, handling deadlines, and working independently in a structured environment. Key Responsibilities Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery Assist with discovery drafting and responses Organize exhibits and maintain case files Manage calendars, deadlines, and case workflow Accurately track time in Clio Assist with hearing and trial preparation Work Environment & Expectations Quiet, highly organized office environment Direct work with the attorney Structured workflow with a focus on consistency Set, reliable schedule (flexible options available, but must be consistent once agreed) Work involves managing deadlines and time-sensitive legal matters typical in family law Qualifications Minimum 4 years of family law paralegal experience At least 2 years of Alabama family law experience required Strong drafting and discovery experience Highly organized and detail-oriented Self-motivated and able to manage tasks independently Consistent, steady work style Comfortable using legal technology Preferred Qualifications Microsoft 365 experience Familiarity with Dialpad or Canva Additional Information Paralegal certification is not required.
