Fleet Mechanic

Fleet MechanicThe Fleet Mechanic works under the direction of the Fleet/Truck Shop Manager. The ideal candidate will perform routine and preventive maintenance and repairs on company vehicles, equipment, and related machinery to ensure safe, reliable operation and minimal downtime, while maintaining accurate service records.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesEssential responsibilities include, but are not limited to, performing the following regularly:Ensure fleet safety and performance through inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairsTroubleshoot mechanical issues on fleet vehicles, equipment, and machineryMaintain cleanliness and organization of the truck shop, parts, and toolsPerform additional duties as assignedPosition Requirements/Preferred Skills and CompetenciesMust have a High School diploma or equivalent and be at least 18 years of ageWillingness to invest in tools and demonstrate mechanic skillsExhibit integrity, professionalism, and adherence to company policies, safety standards, and EMCOR's values and ethicsAble to work effectively in a team environmentQualificationsTo perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
