Job Description & Requirements Specialty: OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $ 2363.84 Opportunity: RN - Operating Room Job Details: • Work in an 18-room operating room facility utilizing Meditech EMR system • Day shift responsibilities include scrub and circulator roles across 18 rooms, with charge RN, service line experts/support, and OR support technicians • Night shift responsibilities include scrub and circulator trauma team coverage with additional on-call teams • Level 2 or greater trauma experience required - candidates without this experience will not be considered • Experience across various surgical specialties required including orthopedics (general, total joint, and spine), neuro, general/GYN/urology (including DaVinci), vascular, and thoracic • Expert spine and orthopedic skills preferred and prioritized during consideration • Perform typical procedures including spinal fusion, total joint replacements, orthopedic trauma, and DaVinci Robot procedures (prostatectomy, colectomy, gastric bypass, etc.) • Float to OB OR as needed • Weekend and night shifts required to cover vacancies • On-call required (approximately four 12-hour shifts per 8-week schedule) • Work alongside a mix of RNs and Surgical Techs • Required certifications: BLS and certifications specific to role aligned with state and federal regulations (e.g., CST, license, etc.) • Scrubs provided by facility • Dress code, attendance, and unit guidelines reviewed on day 1 of contract Facility: This facility is a Level 2 trauma center housing an 18-room operating room department located on the first floor of Pavilion I. The facility supports a wide range of complex surgical specialties including orthopedics, neurosurgery, vascular, thoracic, and robotic-assisted procedures. The OR team is composed of a skilled mix of registered nurses and surgical technologists, supported by service line experts and dedicated OR support staff across both day and night shifts.
