Details Operating Room unit within a hospital setting with 18 rooms Staffing mix includes RN and Surgical Tech roles Day shift covers Scrub and Circulator roles across 18 rooms with Charge RN and Service Line support Night shift covers trauma team Scrub and Circulator roles plus additional on-call teams Surgical specialties include orthopedics (general, total joint, and spine), neuro, general/GYN/urology (including DaVinci), vascular, and thoracic Common procedures include spinal fusion, total joint replacements, ortho trauma, and DaVinci robotic procedures (prostatectomy, colectomy, gastric bypass) Uses Meditech EMR Shift hours run 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM Weekend and night coverage required to fill vacancies On-call required, approximately four 12-hour shifts per 8-week schedule Floating to OB OR may be required Requirements Active VA or compact RN license required BLS certification required, along with any role-specific certifications aligned with state and federal regulations Minimum 2 years of RN experience required Level 2 or greater trauma experience required Expert spine and orthopedic skills preferred US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration One professional reference required No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Additional Information Team player mindset valued for collaborative OR environment Scrubs are provided by the facility Dress code and attendance policies reviewed on day one of the contract Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible Local candidates will not be considered under any circumstances American Traveler Job ID P-751013.
