The right candidate has a can-do attitude, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to provide many levels of support to our community.Position SummaryThe Receptionist is responsible for providing a welcoming, professional first point of contact for residents, families, visitors, staff, and outside vendors. This position manages incoming telephone calls, assists with administrative duties, and supports the financial and billing operations for residents and their families.Essential ResponsibilitiesFront Desk & Telephone OperationsAnswer and direct all incoming telephone calls in a professional and courteous manner.Take accurate messages and ensure calls are directed to the appropriate department or staff member.Greet residents, families, visitors, and vendors and provide assistance as needed.Respond to general questions and provide accurate information while maintaining confidentiality.Maintain a professional and organized reception area.Assist with scheduling, correspondence, filing, and other administrative tasks.Resident & Family SupportProvide courteous and compassionate service to residents and their families.Serve as a reliable point of contact for routine questions and requests.Communicate concerns or issues to the appropriate staff member promptly.Maintain positive relationships with residents, families, staff, and community partners.QualificationsPrevious receptionist, administrative, or customer service experience preferred.Strong telephone and communication skills.Excellent organization and attention to detail.Ability to handle confidential financial and resident information.Basic computer skills and ability to learn billing and administrative software.Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a team.Professional, dependable, courteous, and compassionate approach to working with seniors and their families.Key ExpectationsThe Receptionist is expected to provide exceptional customer service, handle telephone communications efficiently, and ensure residents and their families receive timely and respectful assistance with billing and other routine needs.
