Engineering Product Lifecycle Manager

Engineering Product Lifecycle Manager – Boeing Location: San Antonio, TX. This full‑time role reports to the Division PLM Senior Manager and manages a team responsible for all configuration and data management activities on the VC‑25B program. The manager leads cross‑disciplinary technical teams, develops and implements PLM processes, oversees releases, and ensures products meet high technical and quality standards. Responsibilities Lead and motivate a cross‑disciplinary team of configuration and data management professionals. Plan and execute configuration control, change and variance management, and configuration status accounting (CSA). Coordinate delivery of all CDRLs and non‑CDRLS, track schedules, and ensure on‑time, on‑budget delivery. Perform release of drawings, models, and documentation and oversee technical approach approvals. Develop and maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and partners. Identify and correct safety‑related conditions and promote a proactive safety culture. Provide clear communication to senior leadership and cross‑functional teams. Apply innovative thinking to discover new solutions and improve processes. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and first‑time quality standards. Own team performance, conduct daily operations, hire, manage performance, and support career development. Basic Qualifications At least one year of leadership experience (team leader, manager, or large‑scale project/program manager) or completion of Boeing’s internal “Exploring Leadership” course. Bachelor’s degree and relevant professional experience in configuration and data management or related disciplines. Proven experience leading cross‑disciplinary technical teams and managing delivery of production systems. Strong leadership skills including hiring, performance management, and career development. Excellent communication skills with experience presenting to senior leadership and partnering with cross‑functional teams. Preferred Qualifications Degree in engineering, computer science, or a data‑related discipline. Experience in aerospace, defense, or highly regulated industries with exposure to certification, quality, and data‑marking requirements. Familiarity with PLM environments such as Dassault Systèmes 3D Experience, Windchill, CMPRO, Teamcenter/IPDM, or DCAC and MBSE concepts. Experience with SAFe Agile methodologies and understanding of scrum roles. Experience with PLM tools such as CSDT, REDARS, ADADs, etc. Security Clearance This position requires a U.S. Secret level security clearance (interim and/or final post‑start).
