Qualifications:

• Full & unrestricted state license; ARRT certification (general, plus advanced cert in CT)
• Min. 3 years' experience on the advanced modality
• Prior VAMC experience, prior DRT experience
• Current AHA BLS
• Must clear VA NJHCS Professional Standards Board/credentialing before starting

Location:

VA New Jersey Health Care System (VANJHCS) - Toms River CBOC

1051 Hooper Avenue, Toms River, NJ 08755

Shifts:

8:00 AM - 4:30 PM EST, 8-hr shift with unpaid 30-min break, Monday-Friday

Day shift / full-time; occasional pre-approved overtime at Chief DRT's discretion; staff may be scheduled on federal holidays

Duties:

Computed Tomography (CT)

• ARRT certification in Computed Tomography and Diagnostic X-ray.

• Experience with spiral/multi-slice CT (320-slice, 64-slice) including 3-D reconstruction, drainages, biopsies, and peripheral vascular exams.

• Experience with contrasted and non-contrasted exams, cardiac CT (retro/prospective gating), CT fluoro-guided procedures (lung biopsy, RFA, cryo/microwave ablation), IV contrast agents, and reportable CT dose tracking.
