As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a utilities location, you will conduct routine patrols, operate a company vehicle as required, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon06:00 AM - 02:00 PMTue06:00 AM - 02:00 PMWed06:00 AM - 02:00 PMThur06:00 AM - 02:00 PMFri06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a utilities location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, hazardous conditions, and unauthorized access. Monitor access control points, visitor and contractor activity, and vehicle entry and exit in accordance with site procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities according to site requirements. Complete accurate reports, daily activity logs, and incident documentation while communicating observations and concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts. Minimum Requirements: At least two years of security-related experience is required. Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required. Be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
