Deskside Support Technician

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking 2 Deskside Support Technicians to assist with a large-scale laptop migration project. These resources will work directly with end users to deploy new devices, complete workstation refreshes, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide exceptional customer support throughout the migration lifecycle. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who enjoy hands-on support work in a fast-paced enterprise environment. Support laptop refresh and migration activities. Deploy, configure, and validate new laptops. Troubleshoot hardware and software issues. Provide deskside support during migration waves. Schedule and communicate with end users. Support printers, docks, monitors, and mobile peripherals. Escalate issues to Infrastructure teams when necessary. Track assets and document activities in ServiceNow.

Skills and Requirements

• 3+ years of Deskside Support experience

• Enterprise Windows support experience

• Laptop deployment and migration experience

• Strong end-user support and communication skills

• Hardware troubleshooting and break/fix support

• Experience with Microsoft 365

• Familiarity with Active Directory

• Experience working within a ticketing system (ServiceNow preferred) • Large-scale migration or refresh project experience

• Intune and Autopilot exposure

• Asset management experience

• Enterprise environment experience supporting 500+ users

• Technical certifications (CompTIA A+, Microsoft certifications, etc.)
