Position: Quality Control Manager – Border WallSalary Range: $115-$140KLocation: Laredo, TX areaProject: Border Wall ConstructionOur construction client has been awarded a multi-year contract to continue the construction of the U.S. Border Wall in the Carrizo Springs, TX area (South of Laredo, TX / pop: 260,000).The project consists of Barrier wall construction, 60+miles, boat ramp construction, patrol road repair, patrol road construction, bridge construction, electrical/lighting/ground detection system installation.Candidates will travel to and live around the Laredo, TX area.For the QCM position, the contract includes specific minimum qualification requirements, so candidates will need to clearly demonstrate that experience on their resumes.Quality Control ManagerMinimum 10 years of construction quality-control experienceExperience on at least two federal design-build projectsMust have served as QCM/CQC Manager on at least two projects valued at $10 million or more eachStrong heavy-civil experience preferredExperience with three-phase control, submittals, inspections, testing, deficiency tracking, and government coordinationFor the QCM position, please focus closely on the required federal design-build experience and project values, as those are contract qualification requirements
