Pay & Benefits

• Pay Rates: Tier 1: 24-hour call $4,700; Hourly/Callback $525; Night call $900
  Tier 2: 24-hour call $4,701 $5,000; Hourly/Callback $525 $550; Night call $901 $1,100

What You ll Do

• Provide inpatient surgical care for cardio-thoracic patients, including those requiring CABG and thoracic procedures
• Manage emergency procedures during scheduled call hours
• Perform inpatient rounds on CV surgery cases, ensuring patient stability and safety
• Collaborate with hospital staff, including PAs, NPs, and support teams
• Respond to emergent surgical needs during 24-hour call shifts
• Maintain accurate documentation using the Meditech EMR system

What You Need

• Active Ohio medical license
• Board certification in surgery with specialty training
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in cardiothoracic surgery
• Proficiency in CABG, thoracic, and vascular procedures (vascular is a plus)
• Ability to handle high-acuity cases and complex patient populations
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

About the Assignment
Join a leading facility in Steubenville, Ohio, providing high-quality inpatient cardiothoracic surgical care. You will be performing a mix of scheduled and emergency surgeries, rounding on 4-6 inpatients daily, with an expected surgical caseload of 1-2 CABG per week and 5-7 other surgeries weekly.
