Security Professional Flex Officer

Position Summary Allied Universal® is hiring a Security Professional Flex Officer. The officer will serve and safeguard clients across a range of industries such as Healthcare, Education, Finance and more. Location: Greenville, SC Employment Type: Part Time Starting Base Pay: $15.00 per hour Workdays Available: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday Driver’s License Requirement: Must possess a valid Driver’s License with at least one year of driving experience and a clean driving record. Additional Requirements: Must have strong customer service skills and be comfortable using a computer or tablet. Responsibilities Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle. Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards. Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons. Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles. Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances and exits. Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company property and ensure authorized removal of property is conducted within client requirements. Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain written logs as required by the post. Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner. Make emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Post Orders. Qualifications (Must Have) High school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience. Driver’s License and driving record as described above. Background investigation and drug screening as required by law. No prior experience required. Minimum age 18 years (21 if armed). Reliability and adaptability to different post assignments. Ability to operate radio, telephone equipment, and console monitors. Professional and cordial communication with the public. Effective oral and written communication skills. Active listening and problem‑solving skills. Ability to assess situations, identify critical issues quickly and accurately. Conflict mediation skills. Teamwork and attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have) Multiple language proficiency (e.g. Spanish, Portuguese, French, Arabic). Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience.
