Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJOB PURPOSEThe primary objective of the Manager on Duty is to facilitate communication with the General Manager and Operations Manager for both internal and external guests by overseeing the entire casino operations when the departmental managers are unavailable.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIESType and word-process the daily shift reportCommunicate and provide information to the departmental managers to assist in effective service for our internal and external guestsResearch and investigate information to solve and handle any situations that may arise in the casino on a daily basisArrange and participate in meetings, conferences, and project team activitiesPersonal time management skills to allow for coordination of meeting deadlines for various projects or tasks assigned by any departmental managerAdhere to state or gaming policies and procedures relating to health, safety, and quality of management.Verify and authorize any large jackpot payoutRegular and punctual attendance is an essential function of this positionADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIESOperate as an emergency Pull/Count Team member as required.Other duties as assigned to facilitate the efficiency of Casino operationsJOB QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
