Make an impact as an Autism Support Interventionist, providing direct support to students with Autism Spectrum Disorder in highly structured classroom settings. This contract role spans Carbon and Lehigh Counties and follows the school calendar through June 2027. You'll play a pivotal role in helping students achieve their communication, social, behavioral, and academic goals—working alongside teachers, therapists, and behavior specialists.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver one-on-one and small-group instructional support tailored to students with ASD.
• Implement Behavior Intervention Plans under the guidance of classroom staff.
• Utilize evidence-based practices, such as visual schedules, reinforcement systems, PECS, AAC devices, social stories, and sensory supports.
• Assist students with transitions, communication, social development, and daily routines.
• Collect academic and behavioral data for Individualized Education Program (IEP) monitoring.
• Provide personal care support (toileting, feeding, mobility, hygiene) as needed.
• Maintain calm and consistency when addressing challenging behaviors, including aggression, elopement, and emotional dysregulation.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to support each student’s needs.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, ABA, Social Behavior, Human Services, or related field (preferred); Associate's degree with substantial relevant experience considered.
• At least one year of direct experience supporting children or adolescents with ASD, behavioral challenges, or in settings such as ABA, behavioral health, special education, or crisis intervention.
• Comfortable providing hands-on support in intensive behavioral environments.
