The opportunity is for gastroenterology physicians who want to own and operate their own independent practice while receiving structured operational support from MedCBO. No prior business ownership experience is required. Overview This posting is for physicians interested in establishing or transitioning into an independently operated medical practice. Physicians own and operate their own practice entity; MedCBO provides non‑clinical business and operational support services (billing, payer contracting, revenue cycle, technology platform, HR, supply chain, etc.). Physicians are not employees of MedCBO and maintain full clinical authority. Physician Responsibilities Provide gastroenterological care within your specialty scope. Develop professional relationships within the medical community. Coordinate payer credentialing with MedCBO, as required. Determine clinical services offered. Manage clinical quality and patient experience. Administrative Support Provided by MedCBO Practice formation coordination. Billing and collections management. Payer contract negotiation. Financial infrastructure and reporting. Operational workflows and staffing systems. Technology platform and implementation. Requirements MD or DO with an unrestricted license in good standing in the intended state of practice. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology. Eligible for hospital and/or facility privileges where applicable. Ability to obtain professional liability coverage at standard market rates. No current limitations, exclusions, or disciplinary restrictions that would prevent independent practice. Interest in the independent practice model. Preferred Desire for practice ownership. Community‑based care interest. Leadership or program development interest. Location Multiple U.S. markets available (urban, suburban, and rural). Relocation and market selection are physician‑directed, subject to licensure. Compensation Compensation is not a salary and is generated by the physician‑owned practice.
