Operational Risk Associate

Company Summary: We are partnered with a leading hedge fund in New York City that is looking to bring on an Operational Risk Associate. Ideal candidates have 3-5 years of experience in operational or enterprise risk and are well versed in helping build out risk management frameworks. In this role you will be contributing to the development and implementation of these frameworks across all the firm's business units. This role offers high levels of visibility to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to join a fast-paced, innovative firm. Responsibilities Review business activities and work with business partners to identify underlying risks. Assist in implementing policies and procedures to mitigate risk. Contribute to continuous follow-up efforts to make sure processes are moving smoothly. Create board and risk reports using technological tools. Run operational risk event reviews, including analysis and tracking. Create reports and presentations for leadership. Qualifications 3-5 years of experience in operational or enterprise risk within the financial services industry. Experience developing risk management frameworks. Familiarity with investment related business units (i.e. sales and trading, asset management, investing, etc.) Data analysis and data-driven decision-making skills are preferred.
