DescriptionKforce has a client that is seeking a Manager FP&A in New York, NY.Summary:We are seeking an experienced Manager of FP&A to lead financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis activities. This role will partner with business leaders to provide financial insights, develop forecasts and budgets, analyze performance, and support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate has strong FP&A experience, advanced financial modeling skills, and the ability to translate complex financial information into actionable recommendations.Key Responsibilities:* Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning activities* Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting and variance analysis* Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning and strategic initiatives* Analyze revenue, expenses, profitability, cash flow, and key performance indicators* Partner with department leaders to understand financial performance and business drivers* Prepare management reports, dashboards, and executive-level presentations* Monitor actual results against budget and forecast and explain significant variances* Develop and track KPIs and operational performance metrics* Support scenario planning, investment analysis, and business cases* Collaborate with Accounting during month-end and quarter-end close* Identify opportunities to automate and improve financial reporting and planning processes* Support ad hoc analysis and strategic Finance initiatives* Mentor and provide guidance to financial analysts as neededRequirements* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field* 5+ years of progressive FP&A, financial analysis, or corporate finance experience* Strong budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling experience* Experience preparing management and executive-level reporting* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills* Strong understanding of financial statements and financial reporting* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills* Excellent communication and business partnering abilities* Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesPreferred Qualifications:* MBA, CPA, CMA, or related certification* Prior leadership or team management experience* Experience with ERP, FP&A, or business intelligence systems* Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting experience* Experience with process automation and reporting improvementsKey Skills:* Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)* Budgeting & Forecasting* Financial Modeling* Variance Analysis* Financial Reporting* KPI Development* Executive Reporting* Business Partnering* Strategic Planning* Advanced Excel* Data Analysis* Process ImprovementJob TypeContractCompensation61 - $61
