This on-site facility in New Jersey provides hematopathology services across clinic and operating room settings, supporting diagnostic coverage for bone marrow, surgical pathology, and peripheral blood cases. The facility maintains established clinical protocols and appropriate laboratory resources to support structured daily hematopathology coverage. Locum tenens coverage is sought from October 2026 through April 2027 to meet the diagnostic needs of the patient population served.

The state features approximately 130 miles of Atlantic coastline, with boardwalk destinations such as Asbury Park and Cape May available for leisure. Cultural landmarks including the Liberty Science Center and the Grounds for Sculpture, as well as sites such as the Cape May Lighthouse and the fluorescent rocks of Sterling Hill Mine, provide diverse options for clinicians on assignment. Family-oriented venues and outdoor destinations are accessible throughout the state, supporting a well-rounded experience across all seasons.

Clinicians in this role will provide on-site hematopathology coverage Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at a clinic and OR facility in New Jersey. Daily responsibilities include evaluation of approximately 5 bone marrows with associated flow cytometry, approximately 2 surgical specimens or FNA cases (including lymph node and spleen), and approximately 20 peripheral blood flow cytometry cases. No call coverage is required for this assignment. Board certification in Hematopathology is required for all clinicians considered for this position.
