Supply Chain Engineer

We are looking for a Logistics Engineer who thrives on solving complex high-volume automotive manufacturing puzzles. Job Description: We are adding a Logistics Engineer to our core team in the Charleston area. This is not a desk job where you hand off your designs to someone else. You will own the entire lifecycle of our intralogistics projects. From building the initial ERP models and analyzing cycle times to training the operations team and launching new automotive programs, your work will be visible across the entire facility. We believe in giving our engineers the independence to solve problems creatively, supported by leadership that coaches rather than micromanages. Key Responsibilities: Lead the systematic and physical logistics ramp-up for major new automotive program launches. Design and implement material flow and storage strategies that connect our warehouse directly to production operations. Build and maintain facility layouts, ERP models, and performance-monitoring tools to improve cycle times and reduce costs. Coordinate directly with planning and operations teams to ensure your designs succeed on the shop floor. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering. At least three years of experience in logistics engineering or planning within an automotive manufacturing environment. Heavy hands-on experience using ERP and warehouse management systems, preferably SAP. Proven ability to design physical material flow processes and independently drive projects through to completion. #J-18808-Ljbffr
