Your role will primarily focus on delivering direct student support, collaborating with educators and families, and making meaningful recommendations that promote student success. You’ll be a vital resource for school teams and a key advocate for the needs of diverse learners.

Key Qualifications:

• Active South Carolina School Psychologist License.
• Previous experience as a School Psychologist or Special Education Teacher in K-12 settings.
• Strong background in student assessments, development of IEPs, and implementation of specialized interventions.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for working with students, staff, and parents.
• Dedication to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to professional ethical guidelines.
• Must be comfortable with a fully onsite role.

What You'll Do:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret results to guide educational planning.
• Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, and families to support individualized education plans.
• Develop and contribute strategies to address behavioral, emotional, and learning challenges.
• Participate in team meetings to evaluate student progress and promote best practices.
• Offer guidance on crisis intervention, conflict resolution, and mental health resources.

This full-time, school-based contract spans the 2026–2027 academic year, with a 37.5-hour weekly schedule. The district assignment and specific school location will be determined prior to your start date for August 5th, 2026.
