This role requires a passionate and adaptable professional skilled in school psychology and special education. As you collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, you'll provide assessments, guide interventions, and help shape educational strategies that make a tangible difference for students. The contract spans from August 5th, 2026, through June 4th, 2027, with a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week at a location to be determined within the district.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid South Carolina School Psychologist license (required)
• Experience in educational settings, especially with special education populations
• Expertise in conducting student assessments, developing individualized education plans (IEPs), and consulting with teachers and families
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work onsite with flexibility and professional integrity

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, social, and emotional needs
• Collaborate with special education teachers, school psychologists, administrators, and families to support student progress
• Develop, implement, and monitor intervention strategies and IEP goals
• Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and consultative services as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Participate in team meetings to share insights and contribute to student-centered solutions
