Your Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, managing diagnostic tests, and crafting tailored care plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute and chronic health conditions, collaborating with physicians or practicing independently as appropriate
• Educating patients and their families on wellness, prevention strategies, and chronic disease management
• Prescribing medications and therapies as per your licensure scope
• Engaging in follow-up care and chronic disease management

• Meticulously documenting patient interactions using electronic medical records (EMR)

Educational Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Certifications Needed

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Wisconsin
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C from AANP or ANCC) or specialty equivalent
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications or the ability to secure them within 90 days
