In this role, you will manage client relationships, deliver high-quality products, and provide strategic, knowledge-based solutions. You will play a key role in increasing market share and profitability by building trust and maintaining strong client partnerships through consistent account oversight.Key ResponsibilitiesSalesKeep clients informed on new product offerings and market trendsApply value engineering principles in client interactionsCollaborate with Marketing to provide updated materials and insightsIdentify opportunities for ancillary products and additional servicesRespond promptly and professionally to client inquiries and requestsAttend client meetings and maintain ongoing communication as neededEffectively communicate the Empire story and full range of capabilitiesAnticipate client needs and proactively provide solutionsMaintain awareness of competitors for strategic product positioningNegotiate with vendors to improve pricing and profitabilityBuild and maintain strong client relationships through strategic engagementDevelop forecasts and execute strategic account planningConduct on-site meetings and field measurements when requiredSales ProcessServe as the primary liaison throughout the sales cycleCoordinate with Sales/Account Coordinators and Project Managers to ensure smooth executionMonitor key reports (e.g., pipeline, unbilled, aging)Support and mentor Junior Account Managers, as applicableSkills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree or equivalent.5+ years in the furniture industry; experience working at a dealership preferred.Salary range: $90,000 - $120,000 based on experienceCapable of reading and understanding blueprints, CAD, or construction drawings.CAD experience / CET experience.Knowledge of Steelcase furniture.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).Experience using Hedberg to generate quotes.Strong communication skills, both written and oral.Strong customer service skills.Well-spoken and able to convey ideas, thoughts, and information effectively.Highly motivated, persistent, and a skilled negotiator.Plans and carries out responsibilities with little to no direction.Comfortable working independently.Ability to take on and complete multiple tasks in a timely manner.Handles deadlines and pressure with ease.Works well in a team environment.Ability to motivate others. #J-18808-Ljbffr
