Intervention Tutor/Noon Supervisor

Position: Noon Supervisor / Intervention Tutor (Non‑Licensed)

• Noon Supervisor: 1.25 hour per day, 174 days per year.
• Intervention Tutor: 3.25 hours per day, 135 days per year.

Position Description and Qualifications – Tutor (Intervention Services) Minimum of an AA degree or 2 years of college (60 credits) or successful Para Pro test or Para Educator Assessment. Training or experience working with children in a group tutorial and supervisory setting. Interpersonal skills conducive to building a positive working relationship with students and staff as determined by the principal. Ability to assist students in learning basic elementary school curriculum. Maintain a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality expected of fully licensed teachers. Position Description and Qualifications – Noon Supervisor High school diploma or equivalent. Able to work outdoors in various weather for 20–30 minutes. Responsible for the physical safety and emotional behavior of an entire grade level while supervising students on the playground, cafeteria, and classroom; includes implementing discipline plans when necessary. Pay Classification (2023–2025 LEAF contract) Noon Supervisor: A-1-1, $16.25–$19.66 per hour depending on experience. Intervention Tutor: B-2-1, $19.85–$24.05 per hour depending on experience.
