Job Summary of the Production Supervisor:

The Production Supervisor will play an integral role within the manufacturing team, assisting the Director of Operations and Production Manager. This position involves overseeing staff, coordinating workflow, ensuring quality control, promoting safety, managing materials, and providing training.

Job Duties & Responsibilities of the Production Supervisor:

• Oversee production schedule, assign tasks, monitor progress, address issues, and compile shift production reports.
• Manage staff performance, communicate expectations, provide feedback, enforce policies, and develop training programs.
• Select, train, and mentor employees, and identify opportunities for personal development.
• Monitor manufacturing processes, optimize variables, ensure quality standards, implement cost-saving measures, and foster teamwork.
• Allocate time to direct labor tasks, prioritize safety concerns, and maintain service quality standards.
• Conduct safety inspections, uphold quality standards, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Ensure materials availability, support employee growth, and maintain production efficiency.
• Support employee development, compile production reports, and address queries promptly.
• Communicate job expectations, monitor results, provide coaching, and enforce policies.
• Maintain a safe work environment, adhere to regulations, and contribute to team goals.
• Contribute to team projects and assist as needed to achieve collective objectives.

Education & Experience of the Production Supervisor:

* High School diploma or GED required.

* 3+ years of experience in manufacturing.

* 3+ years of supervisory experience.

* Demonstrated leadership and results-oriented skills.

* Ability to analyze and resolve problems effectively.

* Strong commitment to quality and safety.

* Valid driver's license required.

* Customer-centric focus and excellent communication skills.

* Basic proficiency in Microsoft applications.
