Return-to-Work Specialist

To facilitate successful return-to-work efforts, the full-time Return-to-Work Specialist will apply medical and rehabilitation knowledge while working remotely to negotiate accommodations and monitor the progress of claimants. Key responsibilities: Determine medically supported work restrictions for assigned claims and facilitate return-to-work efforts through negotiation with clients and treatment providers Contact employers to gather job site information and assess physical tolerances and vocational skills required for specific positions Maintain regular contact with clients post-placement to monitor progress and suggest modifications to rehabilitation plans as needed Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) designation preferred Experience in medical or clinical settings related to rehabilitation Knowledge of vocational evaluation and job placement processes Understanding of medical, legal, and accreditation standards relevant to return-to-work practices
