Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced CMM Programmer with strong experience in Camio software and CMM programming to support dimensional inspection of complex aerospace components. The role will involve CMM programming, inspection, FAI support, measurement validation, and working with quality and manufacturing teams.

Location: Columbus, Georgia
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, edit, and validate CMM programs using Camio software.
- Perform dimensional inspection of complex aerospace components.
- Interpret engineering drawings, 3D CAD models, and GD&T.
- Support First Article Inspection (FAI) in accordance with AS9102.
- Generate accurate inspection reports and measurement results.
- Troubleshoot measurement and dimensional issues related to fixturing, part geometry, machine capability, and program setup.
- Perform program validation, correlation checks, and repeatability testing.
- Maintain CMM programs, fixtures, and inspection documentation.
- Support metrology-related corrective actions and continuous improvement.
- Use CMM macros, conditional programming, and VB scripting for inspection automation where required.
Required Qualifications
- 2 5+ years of CMM programming or metrology experience in aerospace or precision manufacturing.
- Proficiency with Camio software and hands-on experience with LK CMM equipment.
- Strong knowledge of GD&T, blueprint reading, and 3D model interpretation.
- Experience inspecting complex, tight-tolerance components.
- Knowledge of AS9100 and AS9102 requirements.
- Experience with PC-DMIS/Hexagon or Calypso is a plus.
- Experience with aerospace manufacturing, engine hardware, or similar precision components is preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
