How you'll make an impact in this role

• Provide direct, patient-centered nursing care to neurology patients, performing comprehensive neuro assessments and monitoring for changes in neurological status.

• Develop and implement individualized care plans, accurately document patient condition, and respond promptly to acute events such as stroke symptoms or seizure activity.

• Coordinate interdisciplinary care with neurologists, rehab services, and case management to ensure seamless treatment progression and safe discharge planning.

• Maintain a dedicated weekend night schedule (Friday–Sunday, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) to ensure continuity of care, eligible for specialized weekend incentive pay and shift differentials.

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job
  transfer date required.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

What additional preferences we're seeking

• One year RN acute care experience.
