Job Summary:
Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse position available in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing specialized post-anesthesia recovery care to adult and pediatric patients. The position requires a dedicated professional capable of managing patient monitoring, pain control, and procedural sedation in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Evening shift, 10 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications:
  • One (1) year of recent full-time clinical experience within the last three years
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state where care is provided
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Life Support (PALS) certification
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in nursing or a related field
  • Procedural Sedation Competency
  • Minimum two (2) years of critical care experience with adult patients, preferably in PACU environment
  • Minimum two (2) years of clinical care experience with pediatric patients, preferably in ER, ICU, or PACU environment
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience providing Procedural Sedation in outpatient settings
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in pain management injection procedures
• Additional Information:
  • The position involves clinical responsibilities such as patient monitoring, pain management, and sedation procedures. Candidates should be prepared to work evenings, with a schedule that supports operational needs.
